To ensure your flowers stay fresh, vibrant, and beautiful for as long as possible, please follow these steps:
Keep Flowers Indoors:
Due to the hot climate in the Emirates, it is essential to keep flowers indoors, away from direct sunlight, heaters, or air conditioning vents. Extreme temperatures can cause flowers to wilt prematurely.
Change the Water Daily:
Fresh water is crucial for the longevity of your flowers. Replace the water in the vase every day to prevent bacteria buildup, which can shorten the life of your blooms.
Trim the Stems:
Cut approximately 2 cm off the stems daily at a 45-degree angle. This allows the flowers to absorb water more efficiently and helps maintain their freshness. Always use a clean, sharp knife or scissors to avoid crushing the stems.
Remove Wilting Leaves and Petals:
Regularly check your arrangement and remove any leaves or petals that are wilting or turning yellow. This prevents decay from spreading to healthy flowers.
Use Flower Food:
If provided, add the supplied flower food to the water. It contains essential nutrients and helps prevent bacterial growth, extending the life of your flowers.
Reposition if Needed:
Keep flowers away from drafts, fans, or areas with rapid temperature changes. Rotating the vase occasionally can also help the flowers receive light evenly, keeping them looking vibrant.
